LAQA and Co. Lip Lube Lip Color

Summer is just around the corner and there’s something about the color coral that I love and associate with summer. I got a lip color sample from my latest Birchbox I wanted to share with you all. (Subscribe to Birchbox here!)

photo 2As you can see in the swatch, this lip color is sheer and light. Many coral lip colors are either too light on the lips to show up as seen in the tube/packaging, or are so pigmented that it’s almost borderline orange.

photo 1The lip color on my lips above is very neutral. It blends all right, however is not the best coral lip color I’ve worn. I absolutely love this “crayon” type of applicator, but the lip color itself doesn’t go on as smooth as I’d like. I’m not sure if this is because of the consistency or color itself. This product works best when a lip balm or lip primer is worn before using this lip color. There’s a slight minty/menthol-like feel when I swipe this color over my lips.

Overall, I’d still use this lip color. If I were to purchase another LAQA & Co. Lip Lube, I’d try a different color for sure. Coral lip color is tricky to purchase. I’ve tried several different brands and am still looking for the perfect one.

  1. Hey there! I understand this is kind of off-topic but I had to
ask. Does building a well-established website such as yours take a massive amount
work? I am brand new to running a blog but I do write in my diary every day.
I’d like to start a blog so I will be able to share my own experience and
views online. Please let me know if you have any kind of ideas or tips for new aspiring blog owners.
    Thankyou!

    • Hi there! Thank you for such a sweet comment! I love writing so this blog comes easily to me. I’d recommend you try it to see if it’ll work out for you. What helps me is scheduling blog posts. So you can write an entry and not have it post until a certain date and time. This will help you manage your time if you wanted to post on specific dates, or knew you wouldn’t be able to post on certain dates.
