I used this thinking it was a lip gloss, and then looked it up to see what was up haha it’s definitely a lip stain that sort of feels like a gloss.
photo 3The actual size isn’t this small. This shade I have here is called Valentine.
photo 2I loved this color! Very close to my normal favorite shade. The formula is watery, and I thought it was interesting to have a stain be in a bottle like a gloss, with a wand like a gloss. I think the fact that the stain is packaged like so is what threw me off and skewed my usage of it. The application was quite easy, but I’m not sure about the formula itself in this form. I understand it’s supposed to be a creamy stain, and it is, it was just odd to think of this product as both a stain and a gloss at the same time. I think if it was in a lip crayon while still being a creamy stain, it’d work better.

photo 4The product leaves a wonderful stain! Love the pink πŸ™‚ It’s not super moisturizing, but I don’t expect most stains to be moisturizing. As a gloss, it wipes off with a quick swipe of a tissue. As a stain, the color actually lasts! Thank goodness πŸ™‚ I felt like I needed to wear lip liner with this stain, though. You know when gloss or lipstick bleeds? I felt like this product would do that. It didn’t but I think I would’ve liked a more sharper look with the help of a liner.

The product felt better on my lips when I used a lip balm before applying the stain. I’m not sure I’d buy this product again, but I will be using this mini sample. I think what I like best about this product is the color of the stain, rather than the formula and packaging of the product itself.
