Banana + PB Bites

These banana and peanut butter bites are one of my favorite snacks!
(Don’t worry, there’s a method to my madness of why these bananas look the way they do…)
Banana (super brown or super yellow depending on your taste preference)
Peanut butter (chunky or creamy depending on your taste preference)


I used two different bananas above. I used a small super brown banana and a small super yellow banana. Why? I like to have a mix of tart bananas and sweet bananas when I’m eating this snack. I also used chunky peanut butter because I love that extra crunch in the bite.


STEP 1: Peel a whole banana and slice off the ends. Slice the rest into an even amount of slices. The thickness/thinness of the slices depend on if you want more or less of a banana taste in your snack.
STEP 2: Take a small spoon and spread a bit of peanut butter onto one slice of banana. More peanut butter for a more salty taste, and less for more of the banana in the bite.
STEP 3: Place another banana over the layer of peanut butter. Push down gently to make sure it stays on.
STEP 4: EAT! πŸ™‚


This is a bit of a messy snack, so I’d recommend eating it with a fork instead of your hands or toothpicks. It’s also perfect with a glass of milk on the side. Mmmm πŸ™‚ I love eating this after a good workout or even for breakfast. So no, these bites may not look super appetizing, especially since I love a few super brown bananas tossed into the mix, but it’s super yummy!
