I got a small sample of this Clear Clinic acne spot treatment from one of my monthly Ipsy subscription glambags. Subscribe here!
I think after only a couple uses, the cap cracked on me 😦 This was sad because then some of the product just started leaking out of the crack after that. But I used it anyway, so you guys are in luck!
By the highly concentrated alcoholic smell of the product, I could tell it was going to be strong. It was. It stung the first few times I applied the product onto acne on my face. I wasn’t a big fan of the applicator brush. It’s just like a lipstick applicator brush. I felt odd putting the product on my face with a wand knowing the wand has touched my other pimples and whatnot. I felt like I was double dipping! Odd. I also wasn’t a big fan of the packaging in general. First, it broke on me. Second, the applicator wand made me slightly skeptical that it was sanitary. Third, the product dripped out of the bottle and onto my hands/table/floor more than once. Yes, this may have been because there was a crack in my cap, but either way, if I tipped the bottle slightly (happened twice) the product would glide out because it was liquid. I wish the product was in a squeeze, or was less liquidy.
The plus side, the product works! It smelled strong, it was strong, and I said goodbye to my acne! I think I’d only purchase this product if the packaging was different. Other than that, the product itself worked well! I saw results within a couple days after using it on my acne. I was impressed.
