The dark chocolate almond milk definitely tasted like it was dark chocolate over milk chocolate. It was sweet like chocolate milk, but wasn’t super sweet, which I liked.
The chocolate soy milk just tasted like regular chocolate milk.
I think since I tried the almond milk before I tried the soy milk, my tastebuds were just shocked with how amazing the almond milk was, and forgot about the soy milk because it tasted so “plain” and “regular.”
So overall, I prefer the Silk Dark Chocolate Almond Milk over the Silk Chocolate Soy Milk. It has more flavor and doesn’t just taste like chocolate milk.
I drink a cup either before or after my workout. I like drinking it alone or pairing it with a yogurt or banana or sandwich.
I’d definitely recommend the chocolate soy milk to those who love chocolate milk. I’d recommend the dark chocolate almond milk to those who are open to trying something that tastes like chocolate milk, but is just slightly different.
