Wine Tasting at Shafer Vineyards

So if you haven’t already, go ahead and check out my wine tasting at Domaine Carneros post. My friend Rafael and I also went to Shafer Vineyards later on that same day. Let’s look at some photos! (Some were taken by me and some were taken by Rafa.)

It was amazing seeing how green everything was:

Doesn’t this look like a house?!

It’s definitely not. It’s what you see when you step off the parking lot. GORGEOUS! Can that be my house? Or my workplace? Mmm, too pretty. If do the Shafer virtual tour, you’ll get better views.

Continuing on…

This is an area where they kept their wine barrels. SO many!

Elias took us around and told us about the history of Shafer and how they make wine now.

And of course when I saw this entrance, I was like huuuuuh?

And then when we got inside I was like OH MY GOSH. CAVE FULL OF WINE ❤

Relentless was my FAVORITE wine we tried at Shafer. I’d love a bottle. I’ll have to go back one day!IMG_0033

Can you say, “incredible?!”

And then I heard behind this gate were barrels of port. *Cue angels singing now* Somebody give me the key! 😉

Sigh. Somebody take me back to wine country ❤
