Benefit the POREfessional

I got this Benefit the POREfessional sample from Birchbox.

(If you want to subscribe to Birchbox, shoot me an email and I’ll send you my referral link!)

I thought this primer was interesting. When I first looked at the packaging, I thought it was just a concealer for pores, so I expected something very thick and pigmented. What it actually was, instead, was a primer to help minimize the look of pores and other blemishes. The formula is super smooth and matte. It also smells super delicious!

This sample I got was super small and fits in the palm of my hand. I’d say the coverage is a medium matte coverage, which definitely doesn’t last all day. I love love love the finish of it though! Matte for life! ❀

I’d recommend this product because I like it. But the only thing I don’t like about it is that it isn’t long lasting. I normally don’t reapply any makeup except for lip products, so there’s no way I’d reapply this throughout the day.

Anyone else have any opinions about this product?

  1. Ah I love Birchbox! I think mine arrives today. (I feel I always get mine after everyone else. They must be on the East Coast.) I hope I get this sample, because I feel like everyone uses this, I just haven’t tried one yet. I’m still going through my Smashbox primer.

  2. I love Benefit, and especially POREfessional. I use it under my foundation every time I actually get around to wearing makeup. It makes my face look so smooth. I’ve recently branched out and tried Benefit’s That Gal primer as well, and I like it too! So far, nothing I’ve tried from Benefit has let me down.
