Eleanor and Park

I couldn’t get enough of Eleanor & Park!

Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell

5/5 stars

Follow me on Goodreads!

I wasn’t sure what to expect of this book, but I had a feeling I’d like it because it was by Rowell. And I proved myself right. I really liked this book!

It made me smile, laugh, squeal, think and cry.

I felt like I was back in high school again and I so felt for both Eleanor and Park.Β I related to little bits of certain characters and I loved Eleanor’s character development throughout the book.

Reading this book during my commute made it seem like time really flew by faster.

I forgot how crazy love is. I forgot how young love felt. I forgot so many things that Rowell reminded me through this book.

It was awesome watching love blossom. This book was different compared to reading about love in other books or seeing love in movies because of the progression. Rowell showed both Eleanor and Park. She showed their raw emotions and it was great to be able to see both sides of this love story.

I was on my toes the whole time as I read through this book. I love that about books! I was always so excited to pick up the book from where I last left off, and I couldn’t bear to put it down when I had to.

I’d definitely recommend this book to others. I don’t think it matters if you’re in high school or Β not. This is such an interesting story that you’ll follow it no matter what. I could picture this book turning into a movie. But it has to be a great movie, otherwise the book would be ruined for me if it was a crap movie.

Anyways, your thoughts on Eleanor & Park?
