NEOGEN Bio-Peel Gauze Peeling Wine

Note: This isn’t wine you can drink πŸ˜‰ Sorry for any disappointment. I’m here to talk about K-beauty.

I was fascinated by this NEOGEN BioPeel Gauze Peeling Wine.

This product fascinated me for a few different reasons.

First, they’re cotton pads you slip your first two fingers into. And you scrub your face with it before rinsing. I was just fascinated by how well this would work.

Second, they’re exfoliating pads and I was really skeptical. For some reason I just didn’t think gauze pads could exfoliate skin. I was wrong!

One side of the gauze has this cross-hatch design that exfoliates, and the other side is a more “traditional” quilted pattern.

cross-hatch design

quilted side

-Take a gauze pad out of the container
-Slip fingers into sleeve of gauze pad with cross-hatch design face down (so that’s the slide that touches your skin first)
-Scrub face with gauze pad (cross-hatch face down)
-Swap gauze sides so the quilted side is down (touching skin) and swipe across face

Overall I was genuinely surprised that this product worked because I was skeptical at first. I don’t use it on a daily basis, but just when I need a light exfoliation.

The one thing I don’t like about the product is the scent; I’m also not a fan of grape-scented things.

I’d purchase this product again, just in a different scent. You get 30 pads for $27, so I’m not sure about that price tag.

I’d like to try more NEOGEN and K-beauty products. Recommendations?
