As someone with oily and acne-prone skin, I’m always excited to try new mud masks, like this Formula 10.0.6 Pores be Pure Skin Clarifying Mud Mask in Strawberry + Yarrow.
The strawberry, yarrow and rosemary in this mask made it smell pleasant, and the light pink hue was also unexpected. I guess whenever I use clay masks, I expect it to look like mud or charcoal and not smell “pleasant.”
I thought this brand was new, but I was wrong! It’s been around since 1933! I was surprised to read this on the back of the packaging as well as on their website. I guess that’s because I don’t remember ever seeing this brand in a store.
Anyways, the formula isn’t too thick, but it isn’t watery, either. A thin layer goes on easily on your face. It dries quickly, and is good if you want to multi-mask.
The scent really makes this mask something. If all my masks could smell like strawberries, that’d be great.
I’m interested in trying more items from this brand just because I’m so unfamiliar with it. I wouldn’t buy this particular mask again just because I’d like to try more from their line.
It wasn’t one of my favorite masks, but it wasn’t one I hated. I’d say try it if you see it, but if you don’t, you’ll be OK.
